There are numerous via ferratas and climbing routes in the Zillertal. The most famous ones in the valley can be found in Mayrhofen. Here you will find 4 different via ferratas in all levels of difficulty from beginners to professionals. There are also 2 high ropes courses.

Arena Coaster

Thrill or giant natural playground
You can experience both.
In Zell am Ziller is located directly on the
Valley station of the Zillertal Arena a 1450 m
long alpine roller coaster. This attraction is open all year round.
If you take the gondola up the mountain you will find the spruce castle on the Rosenalm. This is a huge area with many different places to play and rest. The Fichtensee (with lifeguards) is also very popular for swimming in summer. Access is free all year round.

Experience and tasting for young and old
In the ErlebnisSennerei Zillertal you can see all the production processes from the delivery of the hay milk to the end product in the yogurt tub.
Taste all the dairy products and find your favorite cheese - an experience not just for children.
Then you can find out at the SchauBauernhof where the milk actually comes from and how valuable it is. The cows, sheep, goats and also the chickens approach the children with great curiosity. A very special experience that you won't soon forget as a child.

Hike, climb, jump or fly?
Here you can experience everything.
Drive by car from Ginzling (990 m) on a 6 m wide and 16 km long alpine road towards the dam.
There are many hiking routes from there.
For adventurers, a via ferrata with a height of 131 m begins at the foot of the dam wall up to the top of the wall.
Climbing for children is also possible.
With the Giant Swing or the Flying Fox you will experience pure adrenaline on the dam wall. Hike up from the dam and snap a memorable photo on the suspension bridge.
